The fire tests what the furnace holds. The storm reveals the strength of the anchor. Trials do not destroy the faithful—they define them.
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the presence of faith. When the waves rise, the faithful do not flee. They stand. They trust the hand that holds the sea in place.
God never promised ease. He promised endurance. “In this world you will have trouble,” said the Lord, “but take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). That is courage—not self-made, but Christ-born.
The lion’s roar may shake the air, but it cannot move the one rooted in God’s Word. The enemy may strike, but he cannot sever the one held by divine promise. You were not called to comfort. You were called to conquest.
So lift your eyes. Steel your soul. Let the fire prove your faith. Let the trial sharpen your trust. Stand your ground, not because you are strong, but because He is.
For it is written: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
Hold the line, believer. The battle belongs to the Lord.
