Faith In Jesus – Hymn Lyric
Gracious Lord, Thou canst make me clean;
Hide not Thy face from me;
Sick and faint, as the leper came,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Thou canst remove the plague of sin,
Washing my inmost soul;
Jesus, I come with breaking heart,
Help me and make me whole.
Gracious Lord, Thou canst make me clean;
Speak, and my soul shall live;
O my faith will not let Thee go
Till Thou my sin forgive.
Gracious Lord, Thou canst make me clean;
Weary and sad am I;
Bending low at Thy sacred feet,
Hear my repentant cry;
Faith in Thy Word has led me here,
Faith cannot plead in vain;
Lord, I believe; O cleanse me now,
Wash me from every stain.
Gracious Lord, Thou canst make me clean;
Lord, I am pleading still;
Now I hear from Thy lips divine,
“Child, thou hast faithI will”;
Joy to my soul, great joy has come,
Mourning and tears are o’er;
Sweet are Thy words of love to me,
“Go thou, and sin no more.”

Faith in Jesus: Finding Hope and Healing
Have you ever felt sick and faint, like the leper who came to Jesus? Have you ever longed for someone to help you and make you whole? Well, my friend, I have good news for you. Jesus, our gracious Lord, has the power to make us clean.
Just imagine, no more plague of sin weighing us down. Jesus can wash our inmost souls and remove every stain. So, with a breaking heart, let us come to Him and ask for His help. Let us have faith that He can bring us back to life.
When we come to Jesus with a sincere heart, He hears our cries. He sees us when we are weary and sad, and He bends down to listen to our repentant pleas. We can always trust in His Word because faith cannot plead in vain. And so, we believe in Him and ask Him to cleanse us now.
As we continue to plead with our gracious Lord, we can be assured that He is always listening. In His divine wisdom, He promises that our faith will not be in vain. He tells us, “Child, thou hast faithI will.” Can you even begin to imagine the joy that fills our souls when we hear those words? It’s like a heavy burden being lifted, the weight of our sins washed away.
No more mourning or tears, my friend. The sweet words of love from Jesus bring great joy and comfort. He tells us to go forth and sin no more. How amazing is that? Jesus loves us so much that He not only forgives us but also gives us the strength to turn away from our sinful ways.
Faith in Jesus is the key to finding hope and healing. It is through our faith that we can experience the transformative power of His love and grace. But what exactly is faith?
Faith is believing in something or someone even when we can’t see the full picture. It is trusting in God’s promises and knowing that He is always with us, guiding and protecting us. It is surrendering ourselves to His will and depending on Him for strength and guidance.
When we have faith in Jesus, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities. We invite His love and light into our lives, allowing Him to work miracles within us. We give Him the power to heal our brokenness, to cleanse us from within, and to lead us on the path of righteousness.
But how can we strengthen our faith in Jesus? Well, first and foremost, we must turn to His Word. The Bible is filled with stories of His love, mercy, and faithfulness. By reading and meditating on God’s Word, we can deepen our understanding of who He is and what He has done for us.
Prayer is another powerful tool in building our faith. When we pray, we are not only talking to God, but we are also allowing Him to speak to us. Through prayer, we can pour out our hearts to Him, expressing our desires, fears, and doubts. And in return, we can hear His still, small voice guiding and comforting us.
Furthermore, surrounding ourselves with a community of believers can greatly strengthen our faith. Being part of a church or a small group gives us the opportunity to share our journey with others, to learn from their experiences, and to encourage one another. Together, we can grow in our faith and build each other up.
Faith in Jesus is not something that happens overnight. It is a lifelong journey of seeking, learning, and growing. But the beautiful thing is that Jesus is always there, ready to walk beside us every step of the way.
So, my friend, if you are seeking hope and healing, if you long to be made clean from the plague of sin, I encourage you to have faith in Jesus. Come to Him with a breaking heart, knowing that He is ready to help and make you whole. Trust in His promises, and let His love wash over you. And remember, with faith in Jesus, joy will come, and sin will be no more.
