Never Ashamed
The world will let you down.
People will fail you.
Dreams will fall apart.
Plans will crumble.
But there is no disappointment in Jesus.
None.
Not a trace.
Not a shadow.
He is faithful.
He is steady.
He is true.
Psalm 34:5 declares,
“They looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”
Ashamed means disappointed.
It means left standing with empty hands.
But those who look to Christ—
their faces shine.
Their hearts rise.
Their hope stands tall.
Why?
Because He never fails His own.
The Lord is not a man that He should lie.
He is not a friend who forgets.
He is not a shepherd who loses His sheep.
When He says, “I will never leave you,”
He means never.
When He says, “Peace I give unto you,”
He means peace that lasts.
When He says, “Come unto Me,”
He means you can come—right now.
So stop chasing peace in broken places.
Stop seeking joy in fading things.
Stop blaming God for what man has ruined.
Look to Jesus.
Trust the One who never changes.
Stand on the Rock that does not move.
When your heart breaks—He remains.
When your strength fails—He carries.
When the night falls—He is the Light that never goes out.
There is no disappointment in Jesus because there is no deceit in Him.
No failure in Him.
No forgotten promise in Him.
The cross did not fail.
The tomb did not hold Him.
And your faith in Him will never be wasted.
Romans 10:11 says it plain:
“Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.”
That means—no regret in trusting Him.
No shame in standing with Him.
No disappointment in waiting for Him.
He keeps His word.
He fulfills His promise.
He finishes what He begins.
So stand firm, believer.
Hold your ground.
Lift your head high.
The world may tremble.
The seasons may change.
But Jesus Christ is the same—
yesterday, today, and forever.
And all who trust in Him will say,
through tears or through triumph:
There is no disappointment in Jesus.
Not then.
Not now.
Not ever.
Amen
