Under The Feeble Stable Light
Under the feeble stable light
Come and behold the wondrous sight!
Lies here a babe so heavenly sweet,
Mother and angels the Infant keep.
Angels on wing,
What do they sing?
‘Glory to God, the Saviour, King!’
Brighter the radiant heavens shine,
Shepherds afield hear voices divine,
‘For unto you a child is born!’
Go and behold him, this blessed morn. [Refrain]
Far away too, in eastern lands,
Wise Men obey the star’s commands;
Follow the gleam to where the child lay,
Offer their royal gifts this day. [Refrain]
