Your Thanks To God Most Good Repeat

Your thanks, to God, most good repeat;
His mercy still prevails.
Praise him, the God of gods, most great;
His mercy never fails.
Give thanks unto the King of kings;
His mercy lasts always.
Who only doth most wondrous things;
His mercy ne’er decays.

Whose wisdom gave the heavens their birth;
His mercy shall endure.
Above the waters raised the earth;
His mercy’s ever sure.
To him, who did great lights display;
His mercy still prevails.
He formed the sun to rule the day;
His mercy never fails.

The moon, and dtars, to rule the night;
His mercy lasts always.
Did Egypt, in their first-born, smite;
His mercy ne’er decays.
Who Isr’el led from slavish Land;
His mercy shall endure.
With stretched out arm,and mighty hand;
His mercy’s ever sure.

Second Part

The Red Sea he asunder clave;
His mercy still prevails.
And Israel passage through it gave;
His mercy never fails.
But Pharaoh’s host, with seas, o’erspread;
His mercy lasts always.
His people, through the desert, led;
His mercy ne’er decays.

To him who did great monarchs smite;
His mercy shall endure.
And slew kings, famous for their might;
His mercy’s ever sure.
Sihon, who the Amorites sceptre swayed;
His mercy still prevails.
And Og, whom Bashan’s towns obeyed;
His mercy never fails.

For heritage, he gave their lands;
His mercy lasts always.
Into his servants Isreel’s hands;
His mercy ne’er decays.
Who thought on us, when we were low;
His mercy shall endure.
And us redeemed from the foe,
His mercy’s ever sure.

Who to all flesh their food conveys;
His mercy still prevails.
The God of heaven, O therefore, praise;
His mercy never fails.
